Jenna LeeMemberGot the Tagsley a couple weeks ago and it seems fine so far. But I haven’t really tested the ringer in a real scenario yet. Anyone tried finding it inside a backpack or a crowded bag and actually heard it clearly?

RiversMemberFeels like one of those things where you’d only really know if you tried it, and I haven’t bothered yet. Speaker’s loud enough on my desk, but bags muffle everything. Let me know if you actually test it, I’m not holding my breath.

MemberI’d guess it’s probably fine. Mine rings loud enough that I can hear it from the next room if it’s in a coat pocket, so a bag shouldn’t be much different. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Nina_gadgetMemberI saw this and wondered the same thing before I got mine. Honestly I just threw it in my backpack with a bunch of stuff and had my wife call it from another room and I could hear it fine. Not super loud but definitely noticeable.

no_sleepParticipantI’d probably just trust it until I actually couldn’t hear it. Most of these things are louder than you think once you’re not staring at them.

Rachel ColeMemberProbably loud enough. I’ve had mine in a packed tote bag and could hear it fine from across a coffee shop.

MemberI’ve had mine buried under a bunch of random stuff in my bag and could still hear it when it rang, so it’s been fine for me. I guess it depends on how deep you pack it, but the speaker seems to cut through clutter pretty well.
I haven’t really tested it in a super noisy place yet though, so maybe that’s the real test.

Sam ReadsMemberI haven’t tested mine in a bag yet either. I’d assume it’s probably fine though, these things are usually louder than you expect.

MemberMine’s been fine buried in my bag so far, but I also keep my ringer volume turned all the way up. I’d say just test it once with your bag packed how you normally carry it and see if it bothers you.

MemberI just keep my ringer volume maxed out and so far I’ve been able to hear it from my bag when I’m not too far away. Honestly haven’t had a moment where I was digging around frantically for it. I feel like it’s one of those things you don’t really test until you actually need it.

Lily___MemberI kind of wonder if people are just used to loud ringers on phones and expect the same from this. It’s a thin card, so I’d keep my expectations in check.

MemberMine’s been fine in a backpack, heard it just fine from the other side of the house. Not really an issue unless you’ve got it stuffed in something weirdly soundproof.

MemberI usually just toss mine in the side pocket of my backpack and haven’t had trouble hearing it, but I also don’t stuff my bag totally full. It’s probably fine as long as you’re not burying it under a bunch of heavy coats or something.

MemberI just keep mine in a coat pocket so I haven’t really tested the bag thing. It seems loud enough for that though.

MemberI mean, it’s a thin little card, so I wouldn’t expect it to blast like a phone speaker. Works fine for me when I need it, but I’m not shoving it deep into a stuffed bag.

Paul847ParticipantI think it’s probably fine unless you’ve got it buried under a bunch of stuff. I wouldn’t expect it to be deafening or anything, but it gets the job done for me so far.
7 de June de 2026 at 12:40 #2476EnderWizard
MemberI keep mine in a wallet slot in my bag and it’s been loud enough for me to hear from the next room when I’m looking for my keys. Haven’t tried it buried under a ton of stuff though.
7 de June de 2026 at 17:18 #2492
Matt__MemberHonestly, I’ve thrown mine in a duffel bag a few times and could still hear it from a couple rooms away. Not gonna blast through a concrete wall, but for a thin card it does the job well enough.
7 de June de 2026 at 20:57 #2506
Rob CMemberI think you’d probably hear it okay unless your bag is a total black hole of random junk. Mine’s been fine in a small tote, but I wouldn’t count on it cutting through a packed gym bag or anything.
8 de June de 2026 at 06:06 #2517
Kevin CMemberI’d probably just toss it in my bag and see what happens. If it’s loud enough for a coat pocket, it’s probably fine for most bags too.
8 de June de 2026 at 09:10 #2528
Jenna LeeMemberGood to know, sounds like most people are getting by fine with it in a bag. I’ll probably just stop overthinking it and trust that it’ll be loud enough when I actually need it.
