Tom CallMemberGot the Breezi AC for my desk at work. It works fine for what it is. Anyone leave theirs running for like 8 hours straight? Not sure if it’s meant for that or if I’m supposed to turn it off every few hours.

MemberIt’ll be fine. These things are just fans with a bit of water in them, not some delicate machine. I’ve left mine on for full workdays plenty of times and nothing happened. Just make sure there’s water in it when you start.

Sam ReadsMemberI’ve left mine running all day plenty of times and it’s been fine. It’s just a fan with some water, not really complicated.

pixelnomadParticipantI’d probably just leave it running. It’s not like it’s a real AC with a compressor that could burn out. A little fan and a water tank can run all day no problem.

StanMemberI think people overthink these things. It’s basically a fan with a little water tank inside, not some complicated machine that needs breaks. I’d just let it run.

MemberI’ve had mine running for longer than that by accident and it was still working when I got home, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

MemberI can see why you’d wonder, but honestly it’s probably fine. These little coolers don’t have much to go wrong in them, they’re pretty simple. I’d just fill it up in the morning and let it run.

Zoe MatthewsMemberI’m probably overthinking it too, but I was wondering the same thing. I just got one and I’m not sure if running it all day would mess with the water or anything.

TommyWiresMemberI’ve had mine running all day a few times and it was totally fine. The only thing I’d say is just make sure the water tank isn’t empty by the end of the day, or it’ll just be a loud fan with no cooling. Otherwise, it’s pretty much built to be left on.

MemberI’ve had mine on for a full workday before and it was fine. Just make sure it’s got water in it and you’re good.

Dani MoonMemberI’d probably just let it run. It’s a USB fan with a sprayer, not some delicate machine. The only thing I’d watch is if the water runs out and it starts blowing dry air, but that’s more annoying than damaging. I wouldn’t overthink it.

MemberI’d just leave it running. It’s basically a fan with a mist feature, not exactly a high-maintenance machine.

northshoreParticipantI mean, I think you’re fine. It’s just a USB fan with a little water tank, not a refrigerator or anything. I’d just leave it on and not overthink it. If it breaks, it was probably cheap enough to replace anyway.

MemberI’ve been wondering the same thing honestly. I just got mine last week and I keep thinking about the water tank level more than the motor or anything. I’d probably just run it and not stress unless it starts acting weird.

Jenna LeeMemberI keep forgetting to check the water on mine and it just stops misting when it’s empty. The fan part still runs fine though so I wouldn’t worry about it breaking or anything.

Tina MMemberI skimmed the title and honestly I wouldn’t overthink it. I’ve left mine plugged in at my desk for like two weeks straight without turning it off, fan still going, mist on and off whenever I remember to add water. It’s not some complicated gadget, it just runs until you unplug it or the water runs dry.

Tom RayMemberMine’s been running for like a month straight now. I just top off the water when it starts sputtering and it keeps going.

Paul847ParticipantI think you’re overthinking it honestly. These things are pretty basic, just a fan and some water, not much to wear out. I’d say let it run and just top off the tank when you remember.

MemberMine’s been on my desk for weeks straight, fan part keeps going no problem. I just top off the water when I think about it. Good enough for me.

Tom CallMemberAlright, cool. Sounds like most people just let em run and top off the water. I’ll stop worrying about it then.
