I got a StopWatt and the instructions say to put it near the breaker box for best results. My outlet is literally right next to the panel, but the green light flickers a bit sometimes. Anyone else see that or is it normal?

People make too big a deal out of the green light flickering. It’s probably just the unit cycling or whatever they do, it’s not like it’s a warning siren. If the thing was broken you’d know by now.

The green light on mine flickers occasionally too, but it still seems to work fine for me. I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless it goes out completely.

I wouldn’t overthink the flickering light honestly. Mine does the same thing and it’s been plugged in for months without any issues. As long as the light stays on most of the time it’s probably fine.

Mine does the same thing, flickers a bit now and then. Never really bothered me, still seems to work fine. Probably just normal for these things.

Pretty common from what I’ve seen. The green light on mine flickers too sometimes and it’s been working fine for months. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it goes out completely.

Mine flickers a bit too, and I never really thought much of it. I just assumed it was normal since the device is doing whatever it does with the power flow. As long as it stays green and doesn’t go off entirely, I’d say it’s fine.

I skimmed this and honestly I wouldn’t worry about it. Mine flickers sometimes too and it still works fine for me.

Mine flickers too. Probably just the device doing whatever it does. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Pretty normal, mine does the same thing. Doesn’t seem to affect anything as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like the flickering green light is just normal then. I’ll stop worrying about it and just leave it plugged in.
