I’ve been using the DashOne Pro for a few weeks and it’s been fine for driving, but I’m not sure if my 32GB card is enough for parking mode. I don’t want to keep swapping cards or miss something important. Anyone know how long it actually records before looping? I don’t need a lecture, just a rough idea.

32GB seems like it would fill up way too fast if parking mode is actually kicking on regularly. I’d just get a bigger high endurance card instead of dealing with swapping. Mine lasted maybe a day or two of mixed driving and parked clips before it started overwriting.

A 32GB card is what I run in mine and it’s been fine for parking mode. I get a solid couple days of clips before it loops over the old stuff. Everyone saying it’s too small is overcomplicating it.

I don’t think swapping cards is really the issue here, the camera overwrites automatically so you’re never stuck without footage. The catch is that a 32GB card fills up quick in parking mode, so you’ll only have the last chunk of clips, not days back. If that’s enough for you, fine, but if you want more history you’d need to check what card size it actually takes.

Motion clips eat way less space than continuous, so if it’s only triggering when someone walks by, you’ll get a lot more time than you’d think. I left mine parked at a hotel for a couple nights and it caught a few clips without wiping the card.

Mine overwrote the overnight stuff first, so mornings were usually gone.

I’d probably just leave the 32GB in and let it do its thing. Mine has been recording fine and I’ve never felt the need to pull the card or swap it. If I were you I’d only bump it up if you’re parking somewhere you really want longer coverage.

32GB is basically pointless for parking mode if you actually care about catching anything. I ran into this with mine on a smaller card and the whole thing becomes a lottery. It loops so fast that whatever happened overnight is gone by the time you check it in the morning. I don’t really buy the whole “it’s fine for a couple days” thing either. Maybe if the car is parked in a quiet garage and nothing triggers it. In a normal lot with people walking around it fills up way quicker than you’d expect. The overwrite thing isn’t a magic fix. It just means the oldest stuff dies first, and that’s usually the stuff you actually need. I’d say a 32GB card is really only good for driving clips. For parking stuff it’s kind of a joke.

I run parking mode only when I’m parked somewhere sketchy, not overnight at home. So a 32GB card works fine for me since I’m not asking it to cover eight hours straight. If you want all-night coverage though, you’d want more space.

32GB gets you maybe two or three nights of parking clips before it starts eating into the older stuff. If that’s enough coverage for where you park, fine. I wouldn’t count on it for a full week though.

32GB is the max that thing takes, so it’s not like you have a choice unless you swap the whole camera. I’d just check how far back your clips actually go after a night and decide from there.

32GB fills up quick once motion triggers start stacking.

Mine overwrote a clip I actually wanted because the G-sensor had locked a bunch of junk. Once that locked folder eats space, you lose way more than you’d expect. I’d check how much is sitting in there.

Mine lasted about a week before looping.

I used a 32GB in mine for parking mode and it usually rolled over every couple days, so it depends how often stuff triggers. If you park somewhere busy it fills faster than you’d expect. Nothing wrong with it, just means older clips disappear sooner.

I usually just leave parking mode on low sensitivity so it doesn’t burn through the card on every little thing. That said, 32GB is what it is, so the real answer is it depends how busy your street is. If cars are passing all night, expect it to loop pretty fast.
