Qinux FelinStop for indoor plant areas, does it actually work?

I’m thinking about getting the Qinux FelinStop mainly for my indoor plant area. My cat keeps digging in the pots, and I’m tired of cleaning up soil. Does the ultrasonic thing work indoors or is it more for gardens? Also, does the solar part need to be outside to charge? I don’t want to deal with batteries. Just wondering if anyone has tried it inside.
