Sam ReadsMemberJust used the Qinux Vibrathea for the first time on my lower back. The EMS pulses feel strong enough but I tried the heat function on the highest setting and it barely felt warm. Is that normal or maybe I am doing something wrong with the pad placement?

Matt__MemberI think mine feels about the same honestly. Not super hot, just kind of a gentle warmth. I wouldn’t say it’s doing anything wrong, just maybe not as strong as some people expect.

MemberI think that’s just how the heat function is on these, it’s not really meant to feel super hot like a heating pad or anything. I have one and the warmth is pretty subtle even on the highest level, more of a gentle cozy feeling than actual heat. It doesn’t bother me much since the EMS part does most of the work anyway.

PixelKevinMemberYeah I noticed the same thing. The heat is pretty mild even on max, I think it’s just how they designed it. More of a gentle warmth than actual heat.

L_ParkerMemberThe heat on this thing is pretty subtle, I wouldn’t call it a proper heating pad or anything. It’s more like a barely-there warmth that you might not even notice if you’re focused on the pulses. Doesn’t bother me much since I bought it for the EMS, not the heat.

MemberI had the same thought when I tried mine. The heat is definitely not strong, even on the highest level. I’m not sure if the pads need to be placed differently or if that’s just how it works. The EMS part seems fine though, so I just use it without expecting much from the heat.

MemberI noticed the same thing when I first tried mine. The heat is pretty subtle, even on the highest setting, so it’s not like a heating pad or anything. I think it’s just meant to be a light warmth to go with the pulses rather than a standalone heat therapy thing. Doesn’t bother me much since the EMS is the main feature anyway.

Oliver BrooksMemberI tried mine on my shoulder and honestly the heat is pretty subtle even on the highest level, so I think that’s just how it works. The EMS is definitely the main feature here, the warmth is more of a nice bonus than something you really feel. It might feel warmer if you use it on a thinner area like your neck instead of the lower back.

MemberThat’s pretty much how mine works too. The heat is there but it’s very mild, not like a real heating pad. The EMS does the heavy lifting for me anyway so I don’t mind it.

MemberMine felt the same way honestly. The heat is barely noticeable even on the highest setting, but the EMS pulses are strong enough that I barely notice.

Sam ReadsMemberThanks for the replies. Good to know it’s not just me, I’ll just use it for the pulses and not expect much from the heat. Still does the job for what I got it for.

Dani MoonMemberI had the same reaction when I tried mine. The heat is barely there even on the highest setting, so I just stopped expecting much from it. The EMS part works fine though, so I still use it for that.

Mike in TXMemberI think that’s just how the heat setting works on these things. It’s not gonna feel like a heating pad or anything. The pulses are the main feature, the warmth is more of a bonus.

LiamWParticipantHonestly I wouldn’t overthink it. The heat on these things is more of a mild warmth than actual heat, it’s not really meant to replace a heating pad. Works fine for what it is.

MemberI think the heat is just meant to be subtle rather than strong, kind of like a gentle warmth more than actual heat. I actually kind of prefer it that way for my neck since it doesn’t get too uncomfortable.

MemberHonestly I think that’s just how these portable heat pads are. They’re not really meant to blast you with heat, more like a gentle warmth to complement the pulses. I’d probably just stick with the EMS if you want stronger sensation.
