Does the MrBold Pro feel awkward to hold at first?

I think it grips fine once you try it, but I can see small hands struggling.

It took me maybe two or three tries before the grip felt natural, but honestly I found it way less awkward than I expected. I don’t have particularly big hands and I never felt like it was going to slip, even when I was moving it around carefully. The shape is small enough that you can just rest it between your fingers. You’ll probably adjust faster than you think once you actually use it.

I think the slip concern is overblown, honestly. The body is textured enough that I didn’t have any issues even with my smaller hands. I was more worried about the button placement than the grip itself, since I have short thumbs, but it turns out I don’t need to adjust my hold to reach it.

The one thing that did feel slightly odd at first was how light it is. I’m used to things like tweezers or scissors having a bit more weight, so I was gripping it tighter than necessary for the first use. Once I loosened up, it was fine. If anything, the lightness makes it easier to control near the nose because you’re not fighting gravity.

I’d say give it a couple of passes before judging it. It’s not like holding a pen where it feels natural instantly, but it’s not awkward either. Just don’t death grip it and you’ll be fine.

I wouldn’t overthink the slipping part. Just give it a couple of passes near your nose and you’ll get the feel for where your hand wants to sit.

The grip on these things is never as bad as people think before they try it. I have smaller hands too and the thing is light enough that I never felt like it was going anywhere. The real test is just not being twitchy when the blade gets close to your nose.
