Got the Herz P1 Smart Scale a few days ago. The handle for the full-body scan feels a bit flimsy when you pull it out. Does it hold up over time or should I be careful with it?

I noticed that too when I first got mine. It slides out fine but definitely doesn’t feel super sturdy compared to the rest of the scale. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn’t gotten worse or anything, so I think it’s just the design. Still works fine for the readings.

Mine slides out fine, never really thought it felt flimsy. Works fine for what it is, just a handle on a scale.

Honestly, it’s a handle on a scale, not a piece of gym equipment. I just pull it out gently, do the scan, and put it back. Hasn’t given me any trouble in the few weeks I’ve had mine.

I haven’t had mine long enough to say if it holds up, but it hasn’t bothered me yet. Seems fine for quick use.

I only use the handle maybe twice a week, so maybe that’s why it hasn’t bothered me. Feels fine for a quick scan.

Honestly? It’s a handle, not a tow bar. If you yank it like you’re starting a lawnmower, yeah, it’ll feel flimsy. Just pull it out gently and move on.

I’ve had mine for a couple months now and the handle still feels fine to me. I just slide it out when I need it and don’t think about it too much. Maybe I’m just not that picky about it.

I’ve had mine for a few months and the handle still slides out fine. It’s not exactly sturdy but it’s not gonna break from normal use either. Just don’t yank on it.

I think it’s probably fine. People tend to overthink these things.

It’s a handle for a scale, not a piece of workout equipment. I just grab it and pull, never really thought about it feeling flimsy. Probably fine as long as you aren’t trying to lift the scale by it.

I dunno, I kind of forgot it had a handle until I read this. I’ve only used it a handful of times myself but it seemed fine, nothing really stood out to me about it. Maybe I just didn’t pay that much attention.

It’s fine. You have to handle it normally, not like you’re trying to break it.

I just don’t pull on it aggressively and it’s been fine. Feels like one of those things where if you’re rough with it you’ll have a problem, but normal use shouldn’t be an issue.

I just don’t yank it out like I’m starting a lawnmower and it’s been fine so far. Feels like one of those things where if you treat it like it’s fragile it’ll be okay.

I just keep the handle tucked in most of the time and only pull it out when I do the full scan. It hasn’t given me any trouble so far.
