Nina_gadgetMemberBeen eyeing the Qinux HydroXeltor for cleaning my patio and car. Ads say it boosts cleaning power with just hose pressure but I wonder how true that is in real use. Is the quick-connect really that simple and does it fit regular hoses without adapters? Does it have enough oomph to get mud and mold off tiles but still be safe on car paint and windows? Any tips on storing it or things to watch out for after a few uses?

Paul847ParticipantQuick-connect is stupidly simple, popped straight onto my regular hose with no adapter.

TommyWiresMemberI think it gets patio tiles and light mold off pretty well, even stuck-on mud. Maybe don’t blast car paint up close though, try a low setting and test a small area first.

Nina_gadgetMemberThanks for the tips, ordered one to try. Quick question though, does the quick-connect fit thicker 5/8″ hoses or would I need an adapter? I think mine might be the thicker type, not totally sure.

emily_rParticipantFit my 5/8 inch hose fine with the standard quick‑connect, no adapter needed. It felt a bit snug so I checked the seal after a couple uses.

MemberI think the quick-connect is pretty simple and should fit most standard hoses without extra adapters. Maybe check the rubber seal after a couple uses since it can sit snug and I’m not totally sure about oddball hose sizes.

L_ParkerMemberMine’s light and the grip’s surprisingly comfy so my hand doesn’t cramp during longer scrubs, trigger action stays smooth. Tucks into a small drawer in the garage and still working fine after a few months.

MemberI keep going back and forth on picking one up for the car. The quick-connect sounds easy enough, just wondering if the pressure is actually consistent or if it drops off once you move the nozzle around.

Mike89ParticipantQuick connect worked fine on my standard hose, no issues. I mainly use it on the patio and it handles moss and grime better than I expected. For the car I just keep it on a wider spray and it’s been fine on paint so far. Pretty handy little thing for the price.
