Paul847ParticipantThinking of getting SonaBuds for trips and gym use. I like that they’re normal wireless earbuds too, but how good is the live translation in noisy places like airports or trains? Anyone tried them on a long travel day and noticed battery struggling? Not sure if they’re worth swapping from my current buds.

Mike89ParticipantNot as magic as the ads, live translate got kinda messy in crowded train stations with announcements. Battery survived a long travel day for me as long as I didn’t run translation the whole time.

no_sleepParticipantBeen using SonaBuds for a few months. They stay put during runs and HIIT, never had one pop out. Touch controls get annoying when I’m sweaty. Sound’s fine for gym music and calls are decent.

LiamWParticipantDepends what you need it for. Pairing is quick and they reconnect reliably after popping them back in the case, so switching between phone/tablet on the go wasn’t a pain. Don’t expect audiophile sound, but they’re fine for travel and casual use.

AnnaKParticipantI took SonaBuds on a multi-leg trip and liked the tiny case, easy to stash in a jacket pocket. Live translate struggled in busy terminals so I ended up using them mostly for music and calls. Not totally sure they’re worth switching to if your current buds already do the job.

d4nielParticipantBattery’s fine for a long travel day. Only topped up once from the case.

Paul847ParticipantThanks, helpful. Quick question, how’s the mic for gym calls or voice messages, do people hear you clearly? If it’s decent I might switch.

MemberI’ve heard the translation part is hit or miss in loud spots, so I’d probably just treat them as regular buds for that kind of stuff. The battery seemed okay from what I remember, but I’m not totally sure how it holds up on a full day of hopping around.
