Thinking about picking one up but I’m not great with tech stuff. Does the Qinux BitBip 89 include any instructions for pairing the wireless controllers? I just want to know if it’s easy to figure out without watching a bunch of videos. Not a big deal but curious.

Mine came with a little foldout sheet that walks through pairing, so I had both controllers connected in a couple minutes. It’s pretty basic stuff, nothing that had me hunting for videos. The wording is a bit clunky though, so a few steps took me a second read.

I had a similar concern before I picked one up because I usually hate when gadgets assume you already know what you’re doing. In my experience the controller instructions are pretty minimal. Mine came with a small paper sheet in the box that covered the basics of connecting the wireless controllers, nothing fancy or super detailed, but enough to get things going. I’m not great with this kind of stuff either and I managed to pair both controllers without hunting down videos, so that part was fine.

The one thing I’d mention is that the sheet is pretty short and the wording is a little plain, so if you blink you might miss the pairing steps. I ended up just following the few lines it had and it worked on the first try, which honestly surprised me since I usually expect these cheap retro sticks to be a headache. So it’s not like a full manual with troubleshooting or anything, more just the essentials to get you connected.

If you’re someone who likes having clear step by step instructions for everything, you might find it a touch thin. But for just pairing the controllers, it did the job for me without needing to look anything up online.

Manual is useless if you lose it, which is why I just look up the PDF on my phone instead of digging through the box. Pairing itself is standard stuff, hold the button until it blinks and it connects. I’d rather have that than a thick booklet cluttering up the drawer anyway.

I’d rather have a real manual than a foldout sheet, personally. Those little pictogram things are fine until one controller pairs and the other doesn’t, then you’re stuck guessing which button combo to hold. I’ve had enough of that with cheap gadgets. A proper booklet with actual words would be worth the extra paper. Not saying the thing is hard to set up, just that I don’t trust one-page instructions to cover anything that goes sideways later.

Probably a tiny sheet but pairing is easy enough.

Mine didn’t have any controller instructions at all.

The one I got had a small setup card tucked under the console, not a full manual. It shows which buttons to hold for pairing and that was enough for me. 🙂

I picked one up for my nephew and the controller pairing was shown on a little card that came in the box. Took me about a minute to get both working. Not a full manual but enough to figure it out.

Pairing instructions were printed right on the little card inside the box, so you won’t need videos. Mine took maybe a minute to get both controllers going.

No manual, just a QR code card.

I got one for my parents and the controller instructions were just a small card in the box, nothing more. It showed the button combo for pairing and that was enough. No full manual, but you really don’t need one.

Mine had a quick start sheet, pretty basic but enough.

Mine didn’t come with a real manual either. What I got was a folded sheet with a few pictures and the pairing steps for the two wireless controllers. It wasn’t super detailed, but it was enough to get both controllers connected without looking anything up. I think the whole thing took me maybe two minutes, and I’m not someone who messes with this kind of stuff much. The only part I had to figure out on my own was that the controllers go to sleep after sitting for a while, so I thought pairing had failed when it really just needed a button press to wake back up. Not a big deal once you know that. So yeah, you get basic instructions, not a full manual, and it should be fine if you just want to play without digging through videos.

Alright that clears it up, sounds like I won’t be stuck hunting through videos just to get the controllers connected. Appreciate the quick answers, probably gonna go ahead and grab one.
