MemberI’m thinking about getting the Qinux Pixgo 4K mainly for snorkeling. Does the waterproof case come with it or do I need to buy that separately? I see it listed in some places but not sure if that’s just a bundle thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike89ParticipantMine came with the case in the box, so you shouldn’t need to buy one separately unless you’re looking at some weird listing. Snorkeling should be fine with it as long as you seal it right.

Rachel ColeMemberI got mine from a listing that clearly listed the case as included, and it was in the box. If the listing you’re looking at doesn’t say it’s included, assume it isn’t. That’s the only thing that matters here.

coffeeandscreensParticipantMine actually didn’t include it, had to order one separate.

MemberDepends where you buy it. Some sellers ship the case in the box, others sell it as a separate add-on. I’d check the specific listing before ordering instead of assuming.

Kevin CMemberCheck the box contents photo on the listing. Some sellers show the case in the main pics but it’s actually a separate bundle you pay extra for. The price usually gives it away too.

MemberI ordered mine thinking the case was in the box since the product pics showed it, but it arrived without one. That was a while ago though, so I don’t know if they changed what’s included since then. I ended up using it mostly for hiking and beach stuff anyway, so it wasn’t a huge deal for me. If snorkeling is your main thing, I’d just double check whatever listing you’re actually buying from, since it really does seem to vary. Kind of annoying that it’s not consistent, but the camera itself has been fine for what I use it for.

Ryan__TMemberI wouldn’t assume it’s included. Mine showed the case in the pics but it wasn’t in the box. Listings play fast and loose with that.

MemberThe box contents are basically whatever the seller feels like putting in there that week. I bought mine off a listing that had the case right there in the main product photos, big old case sitting next to the camera, so I figured that was that. It showed up without one. No case, no mention of it being an add-on anywhere on the page. I had to go back and forth with the seller for about a week before they admitted it was sold separately on that particular listing.
So no, I wouldn’t trust the photos. Those main images are usually just stock shots the seller grabbed from somewhere, and half the time they don’t even match what actually ships. The only thing I’d go by is the actual box contents section at the bottom of the listing, and even then I’d screenshot it before paying in case you need to argue later.
For snorkeling specifically you do need the case, the camera itself isn’t going in the water without it. So if the listing is vague about it, just assume you’re buying one separately and factor that into the price. If it turns up in the box, fine, bonus. If not, you’re not stuck waiting on a return while your trip is coming up.

MemberI’d double check with the seller before buying, but the case is usually sold on its own rather than bundled in. The camera itself isn’t really meant to go underwater without one.

MemberMine came with the case in the box, but that was from a listing that clearly showed the case as part of the package, not as a separate bundle item. I’ve had it for about four months now and used it mostly for pool stuff and a couple of beach trips, and the case has held up fine so far. The seal still looks good and I haven’t had any leaks.
That said, I do think it depends a lot on which seller you go with. Some of them seem to throw the case in, others treat it like an extra. If the listing is vague about it, I’d just ask before buying rather than assume. For snorkeling specifically, the case is what makes it usable underwater, so it’s worth confirming either way. If it turns out it’s not included, buying one separately isn’t a huge deal, just adds a bit to the total cost.

MemberI’d just message the seller first.

MemberI got mine a few months back and the case actually came inside the box, but here’s the thing, it was buried under the mounts and cables so I almost missed it. I think a lot of people open the box, see the camera and the little bag of accessories, and figure the case isn’t there. Mine was tucked at the bottom. So it’s worth digging through everything before assuming it’s missing.
That said, I’ve seen listings where the case is clearly pictured on its own, like a separate item in the gallery, and those ones probably don’t include it. The bundle listings usually show everything laid out together. If the photos look like a group shot of all the stuff, you’re probably fine. If the case is off on its own little product shot, that’s a sign it’s sold separately.
For snorkeling it does the job fine, no leaks so far after a handful of trips. Just make sure the seal is clean before you close it up.

MemberEveryone here is overcomplicating this. The case isn’t an optional add on you have to hunt down, it’s a factory part. Qinux literally lists it as included in the box. If a seller strips it out and sells it as a “bundle,” that’s on them, not the camera. I’ve seen that game with cheap action cams for years, they pull the waterproof housing and sell it back to you for fifteen bucks. Check the official listing, it’s in the standard contents. If some random marketplace seller is charging extra, skip them and buy from someone who ships the whole package. That’s the whole point of these budget cams, the accessories come with it. Snorkeling is exactly what the housing is for anyway.

MemberI went through this same thing last summer and I’ll be straight with you, I wouldn’t buy one unless the listing photos clearly show the case sitting next to the camera. Mine came from a page that only showed the camera and a couple mounts, and there was no case anywhere in that box. I ended up ordering one after the fact and it cost me almost a third of what I paid for the camera itself, which honestly annoyed me more than it probably should have. My sister bought hers a month later from a seller who had the case right in the main photo and hers showed up with it, same camera and everything. So it really does seem to come down to which listing you click on rather than anything consistent. If snorkeling is your whole reason for getting it, I’d just find a listing that pictures the case before you hand over any money.

MemberI’d just grab whichever listing shows the case in the photos, otherwise you’re rolling the dice. Mine came with one but I’ve seen the same camera sold without it too.
14 de September de 2026 at 08:29 #11069Maya Chen
MemberI’d double check before buying, because mine didn’t include the case at all. The listing looked similar to the ones with it but the box just had the camera and mounts. So it really does depend on the seller.
14 de September de 2026 at 08:45 #11071
PixelKevinMemberThe waterproof case thing is more about which seller you buy from than the camera itself, from what I’ve seen. Qinux sells the Pixgo through a bunch of different listings and some of them are basically camera-only, even though the photos look identical at a glance. I remember looking at a couple of these action cam listings last year, not this exact one, and the accessory bundle varied a lot between sellers. One had the case plus mounts, another was just the cam and a charging cable. Same model name, same price range, totally different box contents. So the box contents aren’t really standardized across sellers. If snorkeling is the whole reason you’re buying it, I’d make sure the listing you click actually shows the case as part of what’s included, not just a lifestyle photo of someone using it near water. That’s usually the giveaw

KhanMemberMine came with one, still using it.

MemberI bought mine thinking the case was always included and it wasn’t. Had to order one separately, which was annoying since the whole point was snorkeling. So no, it’s not guaranteed.

MemberAlright, guess I’ll just check the box when it shows up.
